I am a portrait, lifestyle, and wedding photographer

who loves people, the outdoors, and, you guessed it... photography. I recently moved back from the Big Island 

of Hawaii to backpack the Appalachian Trail with my husband. We hiked over 1,200 miles with my camera by my side the whole time. I may have been the only person crazy enough to take a two pound camera along for the ride, but to me it was worth every ounce. When I'm not off adventuring in the wild, I love traveling, cooking (and eating) new foods, laughing in good company, doodling in my sketch book, gardening, drinking massive amounts of coffee, and spending time with my goofball of a husband, Dave. I like my photo sessions to be fun and laid-back so clients can be themselves behind the camera. If you don't mind tromping through a little mud or trying something new, even if it's a little ridiculous, then we are going to have a blast on your shoot and capture some amazing images. 

 

I love sharing my passion for photography with people from all walks of life. Being able to freeze a moment in time to tell someone else's story is an honor. It's always exciting to see how my creative vision unfolds alongside my clients because it's always different. Their different personalities, different energies, and different stories make every session so unique. I have the challenge and privilege of capturing those people's raw and authentic selves. It invigorates me and my hope is to evoke that same emotion in my clients. I aim to capture beautiful moments that are real,  heartfelt, creative, and unconventional.
